Ditching Survival Practice for Pilots & Year-end BBQ


Event Details

  • A fun morning just to get-together and practice the what most pilots usually do not prepare for! We are also hoping all pilots can join and make this our year-end BBQ get-together!

    Venue: Olympic Pool (Recreation Clubhouse Level 1), Orchid Country Club, 1 Orchid Club Road, Singapore 769162.

    Agenda:
    1) Intro by Meng/Siva
    2) Safety Equipment display and briefing
    3) Aircraft Crash Scenario demonstration
    - Ditching
    - Life-vest and life-raft
    - Deploying and practicing to board a life-raft in the water after ditching (practice with an actual 4-man raft in swimming pool)
    4) CPR update briefing & understandings of basic principles in emergencies by WOA volunteer doctor

    Open to all aircraft owners and pilots. Dress code - Board shorts, beach wear, bikini, G-string swimming trucks...all welcome!

    Costs: Contribute SGD$5.00 (ClubWOA member) / SGD$10.00 (Others) per person for brunch & drinks. Cash on Entry.
