People getting smarter, they knew schools progress are super slow, so, they choosen flying clubs to get PPL first! RSFC has always been popular to people and there are lots of students. Don't forget.

If I were you, I will choose other flying club. I rather travel further, pay a bit more and finish the PPL faster.

What's the point cramping with other students, fighting a slot to fly?

Also,I've chatted with Col Zakkaria two months ago, he told me aircrafts are not serviceable. Not sure how is it now.

Make a trip to TUDM at Sungei Besi, talk to the C.F.I. there.

Get the latest update from RSFC first. Go down there dan jumpa CFI.

Also, do research among flying clubs. Then let the members know what you have found out.

Do all comparisions among kelabs first, then make decision. Flying is always expensive from right at the beginning. Saya tidak ingin lihat money wasted.

Hi Xman,

N217 DA40 is solely owned by Discovery Flying Club (DFC). DFC is quite newly established and i think it rented a space from SFC. Basically, DFC provides flight experience to educational institutes, corporate groups and individual private pilots and not solely SIM. They had a MOU signing ceremony with UniSIM on this collaboration a while back and it had appeared on the news. I think DFC provides the students studying Aerospace a chance to fly and experience the dynamics of aviation. But the plane is not entitled to UniSIM's usage only, it is open for their corporate group members and individual pilots.

You can refer to their website at www.dfc.org.sg for more information.

Hope this helps! :)

Regards,

Flying Monster

I have a query here.

A foreign flight instructor rating (say, a Malaysian nationality) but with less than 500 instructional hours, can he allow to teach in flying club (in Malaysia)?

Kindly don't advise to call DCA.

cannot...foreign cannot teach at club
